It was postulated to carry the crown rust resistance gene Pc91, which effective against prevalent races on Canadian Prairies at time of its release. had very good loose and covered smut moderate most prairie stem races, intermediate in reaction barley yellow dwarf virus. has high test weight, average kernel groat percentage plumpness. exhibited yield potential eastern oat-growing areas Western Canada. registered (reg. no. 7439) Canada 15 October 2013.
